Mike Pressler, a former lacrosse coach of Duke had moved on to Bryant after the scandal case, later retiring after 16 years of service.
Pressler, who graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1982, played football and lacrosse for four seasons and was a First Team Division Kodak All-American nose lineman in football.
In 2001, Pressler was even inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. Besides that, he is eighth all-time in NCAA history and sixth all-time among active coaches in all three NCAA divisions for career wins.
He has also participated in 20 NCAA tournaments during the course of his career.

Coach Pressler, who guided the Bryant Bulldogs to national prominence during his time as head coach at Bryant University, has already retired.
Besides, Pressler spent 16 seasons as the head coach at Duke University before moving on to Bryant. Before Duke, he spent four seasons as the head coach at Ohio Wesleyan.
In addition to being selected National Coach of the Year for guiding the 2005 Duke Blue Devils to an NCAA single-season record of 17 victories, Pressler has received three ACC Coach of the Year awards.
Both the Connecticut Sports Hall of Fame and the Wilton (Connecticut) High School Hall of Fame inducted Pressler in 1998 and 2010, respectively.
When the 2010 ILF World Championships were held in Manchester, England, the U.S. Men’s National Team, which he served as head coach, won gold. He also worked as an assistant with the national squad that won the gold medal in 2002.
