Micah then joined the Celtics as an assistant coach just prior to the 2013-14 NBA seasoning which then reunited him with Brad Stevens’ staff again.
The former basketball player then returned to Purdue as an assistant head coach on May 9, 2019.

Micah Shrewsberry has 4 children whose names are Braeden, Nicholas, Caitlin, and Grace Shrewsberry.
Micah’s eldest son Braeden joined the Penn State Men’s Basketball program created and lined up by his dad Micah himself.
Braeden is a three-star recruit in the class of 2023. He stands 6’2 tall.
However, Braeden’s journey in joining Penn State was a quick one considering his father is the head coach of the program. He made an unofficial visit on Sept 11 and received his offer letter two weeks after.
Micah is a very family guy and he stated, “My family is special. I love every part of the family. It’s a big part of my whole life and career”.
