On Twitter, fans expressed their sorrow about the couple’s departure, as another favorite character from Days of Our Lives has said farewell to Lani Price and Sal Stowers.

Sal Stowers’ big break came when she won America’s Next Top Model’s ninth season. In 2013, she made her daytime television debut as Cassandra Foster on the show All My Children.

Some of her previous television appearances include The Fosters, Switched at Birth, Major Crimes, and New Girl, to name a few.

Lamon originally appeared on Days of Our Lives not long after his time as Mason Wilder, a recurrent character on The Young and the Restless, came to an end.

Additionally, he has made appearances on programs including Can’t Buy My Love, 2 Broke Girls, and All American.

Are Lani And Eli Leaving Days Of Our Lives?

Eli and Lani are leaving the show “Days Of Our Lives,” and the actors who played them for the final time appeared on Friday’s broadcast.

Lani’s character is now going to prison after confessing to killing TR, her biological father. Besides, she made the confession at Abe and Paulina’s wedding.

Now that her character from DAYS has been written off the show with a jail sentence, Sal has spoken up to Soap Opera Digest about why she didn’t feel the timing was right to leave this role.

In the meantime, Lamon’s character is relocating to a location near the prison where she will be spending her time by leaving Salem with his and his wife’s children, Jules and Carver.

The actor admitted it didn’t go quite as he had hoped for while discussing his departure from the daytime program with Soap Opera Digest.

Actress Sal Stowers and Lamon Archey Quits, But Why?

Both Sal and Lamon are quitting the program to pursue other possibilities. The actress acknowledged that leaving was “not an easy decision to make,” but she did say that she had been considering it “for a time.”

In addition, Lamon claimed that DAYS was having trouble keeping him on as a recurring character even though he didn’t particularly want to leave the show.

The actor only sought a part-time role on DAYS because he was also starring in The CW’s All American and was looking for additional chances. For the show, that proved insufficient.

Lamon informed his agency that while he “would be down to do recurring,” he “didn’t want to do a contract anymore” with the serial opera.

After Their Departure From DOOL, Will They Return?

Sal and Lamon might not appear again in the program. As the actress has said, she believes that taking a chance will benefit her career. She has also spoken about Lani, the role she played, and how much she will miss doing so.

However, if things go smoothly between the DAYS teams, Lamon could appear frequently on the show.

He explained: “I simply didn’t want to be constrained and not have the freedom to pursue other careers, portray other characters.” It was something “DAYS” couldn’t handle in the end,” the actor claimed.

In the end, he continued, “They decided that they couldn’t maintain me on the recurring status and that was that.”

According to Lamon, the way his character was written off the show, “would have changed what he did.”
