Mercedes Martinez is the wife of renowned American film director, screenwriter, and producer Chris Weitz, who is best known for his work with his brother Paul on the comedy films American Pie and About a Boy.
The exact date they got married is not yet known. However, they are believed to have been married for many years.
Mercedes, a Cuban Mexican, and her husband have two children: a son, Sebastian Weitz and a daughter, Athena Weitz.
