Adam Driver is infamous for saying the n-word, which was part of a script for his movie BlacKkKlansman released in 2018.

He is also known for his stories of horrible experiences at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015, which have led the actor to not attend the event ever since then.

Did Adam Driver Use The N Word?

Yes, Adam has used the N-word in the past, but it was only for shooting a scene for his movie BlacKkKlansman. It is a Spike Lee-directed American biographical crime movie adapted from Ron Stallworth’s 2014 biography Black Klansman. Adam played the role of Flip Zimmerman in the film.

The movie is set in In the 1970s when Jimmy Creek, played by Michael Buscemi, and Flip Zimmerman, both officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department in Colorado Springs, collaborated on intelligence projects.

He agreed to assist Ron Stallworth, played by John David Washington, in 1979 when Stallworth pretended to be a white guy who wanted to join the Ku Klux Klan over the phone, and Zimmerman acted to be Stallworth when meeting with Klansmen in person.

Actor’s Absence At San Diego Comic-Con Reasons

This weekend, Comic-Con returned to San Diego for the first time since 2019. Even though the event isn’t as significant as it once was, Marvel Studios and Warner Bros. are bringing some notable future films to the festival. Adam Driver has come up to tell about an awful encounter at the Comic-Con. The Star Wars actor claimed he would never again attend Comic-Con during an interview with BBC late-night host Graham Norton.

This is because of a terrible incident at San Diego Comic-Con in 2015. When promoting Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in which he played Kylo Ren, he was asked if he enjoyed himself at the convention. He responded by explaining his horrible experience at the event.

He said he wanted to grab a coffee after he checked into the hotel they were supposed to stay in until the actual Comic-Con event could kick off. However, the organizers denied him to go outside the room by exposing himself and suggested he wear a mask to cover his identity if he needed to leave his room.

He even mentioned that he heard Star Wars theme music being played by a band on repeat beside the hotel where the entire crew was staying. It may be a nice gesture for some people, but he was terrified because of that action and decided not to attend the event since then.
