Azcarate has got married to the former Fairfax Country police officer Eddy Azcarate. She is living blissful marriage with her husband Eddy with their four children. However, Penney has not disclosed the identity of her kids.

Moreover, Eddy is the Deputy Regional Security Advisor and a member of the Secure Community Network. Also, he is a retired master police officer at Fairfax County Police. He started his career in May 1989 and worked as Marine Corps Officer in United States Marine Corps.
Further, he has previously worked as a Service Manager at Warner Plumbing, a police officer at Fairfax, City. Recently, he has joined as deputy regional security advisor at Secure Community Network.
