Sanders took to his official Instagram handle to formally announce his retirement thanking everyone he knows and those who care about him.

In theInstagram videotitled “Thank You,” the former NFL star mentioned that he had come a long way from the small town of Bellville, Texas. He further added that he was just a kid chasing after a dream and caught it. Lastly, he wrote, “God is the greatest!” citing his forever thanks to his entity for his unforgettable NFL journey.

Since his 2010 NFL Draft, Sanders played with a handful of notable teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, New Orlean Saints, and Buffalo Bills, till his retirement.
