Mr. Freddie Roman (born Fred Kirschenbaum on July 1, 1937 in Jamaica, Queens, New York) is a Jewish American stand-up comedian best known for his numerous performances at hotels in the so-called “Borscht Belt.” He is now the Dean of the New York Friars’ Club, where he has been dubbed the “King of One-Liners.” Roman now lives in the New Jersey town of Fort Lee.
