Gregg Leakes, the husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star NeNe Leakes, has been reported dead. The news came few days after NeNe was seen in a video on Saturday addressing Gregg’s health issue at The Linnethia Lounge, telling patrons; “My husband is transitioning to the other side” and the following day, she also shared an image of the “Broken” with a prayer and heartbroken emojis on her Instagram.
Gregg Leakes died from colon cancer. His family in a statement on Wednesday by his longtime family friend and publicist Enerst Duke confirmed saying; “Gregg died peacefully in his home while surrounded by his family”. He was 66 years old.
NeNe and Gregg first got married in 1997, divorced in 2011 before remarrying him in June 2013, he was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2018 and in June 2012, he was back in the hospital for surgery following the cancer return, They had a son named Brentt Leakes, he is 22.
