Makayla Brewster took her own life on 11th February 2021. It was only 5 days before her 13th birthday, and bullying is known to be the prime cause of it.

Makayla was a natural athlete who excelled at gymnastics and volleyball. P.E. was her favourite class in school, and she had her artwork displayed at NSU’s annual art exhibit several times.

Makayla Lynn Brewster, the daughter of Anthony William and Angela (Peters) Brewster, was born on February 16, 2008, in Pryor and took her life on February 11, 2021, at the age of 12 at her home in Broken Arrow.

She was a happy, intelligent, and humorous young lady who was adored by everybody who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Her parents, Anthony and Angela Brewster of Broken Arrow, and two sisters, Brianna and Presley Brewster of Broken Arrow survive her.
