Steve Backshall, whose full name is Stephen James Backshall, is a British naturalist, explorer, broadcaster, and writer. He is best known for his work on Deadly 60 on BBC TV. He also contributed to the expedition teams for Lost Land of the Tiger, Lost Land of the Volcano, Deadly Dinosaurs, and Lost Land of the Jaguar for the BBC.
The TV host is currently well-known for his show Expedition with Steve Backshall for the TV network Dave. It is a documentary where the host, Steve, explores the globe in search of daring exploits, including river rafting in the Himalayas, jungle trekking in South America, and mountain climbing in the Middle East.
Steve Backshall Children: His First Son Logan James David
The first child of Steve Backshall’s is Logan James. David was born on July 24, 2018, after losing one of their twin babies earlier that year.

They’ve had the heartbreaking news that one baby hasn’t made it, but they were pleased and hopeful for the remaining baby. The couple maintained their upbeat attitude for the duration of the pregnancy and expressed their joy at welcoming Logan into the world.

Steve seems very attached to his sons and family, as he was already too excited for the parenthood journey when his first child was brought into the world. He never fails to show his love and affection toward his child whenever he gets a chance.

Steve Backshall Wife Helen Glover
Steve Backshall and Olympic rowing champion Helen Glover made their engagement public on September 16, 2015. The pair married on September 10, 2016, in Prussia Cove, Cornwall.
The couple met each other in 2014 at a Sports Relief Centre. They dated for less than a year, and then Steve proposed to her, and the couple married each other.
Elen had won numerous medals, including the first gold for the nation in the women’s coxless pairs event at London 2012 when she competed with Heather Stanning.
From 2003 to 2006, Steve served as host of CBBC’s The Really Wild Show. He then joined the Springwatch Trackers crew and, in 2009, Deadly 60.
Additionally, he has undertaken several “deadly” challenges, such as the Extreme Mountain Challenge, Personal Expedition: Mount Asgard, and Deadly Pole to Pole.
