Surfing was set to make its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020; however, the Games have been postponed until 2021.
Ella Wiliam did take it positively and said, “I see it is a great opportunity to be my best self and be in a better place both mentally and physically. I’m excited for next year’s Olympic Games.“
New Zealand’s involvement in the inaugural Olympics surfing championship ended on Monday, with Ella Williams bowing out in the third round.
