Winner of BBNaija Season 6, Whitemoney, also known as Hazel Oyeze Onou has opened up on his journey inside the BBNaija house. In an exclusive interview with BBC pidgin, he stated empathically that he took part in BBNaija purposely because poverty was killing him.
White money took part in the 6th season of BBNaija as the fifth contestant on 24 July 2021. He was declared the winner scoring 47% of the final votes ahead of Liquorose with 22.99% of the total votes cast, and was entitled to the ₦90 million grand prize.
He revealed that sometimes he gets his own shoes to sell, other times other importers give them to him so he sells and gives them their money.
He explained that ” I hustle in a normal way but that one is business, you can get 10 million naira and one million will be your profit. It does not mean you have made it, it just means, you are making money.”
“But for 30 million nairas, you know how many containers dat one fit bring come? The money won’t change just my life but it has changed my destiny”.
