Kristy McPherson’s early career journey started when she was eight. McPherson turned professional and started playing for LPGA in 2007.
She had six top-10 finishes in 2008, her second year, and came in at number 47 on the official money list.
In 2009, McPherson finished T-2 at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, an LPGA major. Three months later, at the LPGA Championship, she finished T-5.
Kristy is on the Arthritis National Research Foundation’s board of directors in Long Beach, California.
She is an inspiration for the 300,000 children in America who have juvenile arthritis.
In contrast to having juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) dominate her, Kristy takes charge of her Still’s Disease.
She was told at age 11 that she would never again play competitive sports, much less win a championship, and was confined to her bed.
Instead, she overcame all odds to play professional golf at the most incredible level.
