Originally from South Central Los Angeles， Jensen Atwood (born August 25， 1976) is an American actor who now lives in the same neighbourhood. He is the younger of two sisters and the elder of two brothers. Born to his mother and elder brother Jason “String” Atwood， he grew up with them. A graduate of California State University Long Beach and Playhouse West in Los Angeles， he is now studying acting with Eric Morris at the Actors Studio. Jensen Atwood starred as the love interest of Academy Award® winner Halle Berry in “Oprah Winfrey Presents Their Eyes Were Watching God，” in which he also co-starred with Academy Award® nominee Ruby Dee， who portrayed the role of Johnny Taylor. He is also well-known for his performance as Wade Robinson in the Noah’s Arc television series. Noah’s Arc is the first television series to include major characters who are black homosexual males. In interviews， Atwood has said that portraying Wade was the most difficult part he has ever played.
