Josh van der Flier, an Irish rugby union player for Leinster and Ireland, was brought forth on April 25, 1993.

Although flanker is his primary position, he can play other positions as well.

Through his paternal grandparents, who emigrated to Ireland in the 1950s to start a radiator manufacturer, Van der Flier traces his Dutch ancestry.

In Leinster Rugby circles, he is frequently referred to as “The Dutch Disciple.” The Leinster academy was where he started his professional career.

He participated in the Leinster senior team while attending the academy, making his debut in the team’s match against Zebre in October 2014.

He received word that he had been given a senior contract with Leinster in April 2015.
