Katie Boulter secured a great win against former world No.1 player just two days after her grandmother died.
Katie broke down in tears after defeating the Czech Republic’s Karolina Pliskova 3-6-7-6(4) 6-4 in one of the biggest upsets of the tournament.

Speaking after the match, Katie said, “I’ve got no words right now, I’m literally shaking… My gran passed away two days ago so I’d like to dedicate that to her today”.
Katie has excelled on grass for a second straight summer and has now recorded back-to-back wins over Pliskova having also beaten her in Eastbourne.
She will next face World No.115 Frenchwoman Tan who shocked the tennis world with a victory over Serena Williams in the first round on Tuesday.,
