Michael Phillips is an American-Filipino basketball player who plays for the La Salle Explorers men’s basketball program while representing De La Salle University in college basketball.
Before joining La Salle, Michael attended and played 19 games for Creekside High School and posted norms of 12.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.4 blocks for the Knights as per Tiebreaker Times.
Phillips recently got praised by Ateneo coach Tab Baldwin for his energy and athleticism; Baldwin shared that the athlete has a tremendous work ethic with high energy, cuts, long arms, and pursues the ball every time. Furthermore, he has the eligibility to play five seasons in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.
