The Chicago native radio host Les Grobstein started his career as a sports commentator on December 29, 1970. His first job was for the Northwestern Wildcats men”s basketball team at Northwestern University.
Les Grobstein was a Chicago radio sportscaster. The legendary radio person has given more than 50 years to Chicago radio. He has also worked for major radio stations such as WLS Radio, CBS Radio, and The Score.
In 1959, at the age of seven, he went to a Cubs-Phillies baseball game at Wrigley Field, and from there, his love for sport began. He used to record games with his small tape recorder and do commentary.
