According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was arrested and detained in Los Angeles after a warrant was issued.
Bridges was detained, but LAPD spokeswoman Lizeth Lomeli withheld information about the accusations. According to TMZ, Bridges is accused of felony domestic violence.
Bridges, who was the Hornets’ top scorer a year ago, is about to become a restricted free agency and may want a maximum contract soon.
The information is released just before NBA free agency, which starts Thursday night and allows teams to speak with free agents.
The team released the following statement: “The Charlotte Hornets are aware of the situation involving Miles Bridges. We are in the process of gathering additional information. We will have no further comment at this time.”,
