Antron Brown is an American drag racer competing in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series in the Matco Tools Top Fuel dragster for AB Motorsports.
Brown is best known for winning the Top Fuel championships in 2012, 2015, and 2016. Antron is the first African American champion in the sport. Brown won 16 motorcycle races and had the best point finish of second in 2001 and 2006.
When he first entered professional drag racing, he genuinely enjoyed racing a Pro Stock Motorcycle, and he quickly gained popularity among both fans and competitors.

Brown married Billie Jo Brown in 2001. They met at Antron’s first Pro Stock Motorcycle race in Gainesville in 1998, and they have been together ever since.

NHRA Racer Antron Shares 3 Kids With Billie Jo- Anson, Adler, And Arianna
Brown and his wife Billie have two sons and one daughter. For an NHRA racer, the growth of his children is more important than the success of his career.
When Antron’s son, Anson, expressed an interest in racing at eight, his family fully supported his ambition and enrolled him in the Junior Dragster ranks.
Anson has shown promising talent by winning a few championships in the Midwest Jr. The Super Series. Later, he decided to upgrade to a bigger car for his 17th birthday in 2021, and his parents surprised him with a Super Comp licensure course at Frank Hawley.
Along with Anson, Adler, and Arianna, Antron’s other two children also pursue their interests in drag racing to continue the family’s tradition. Antron and his wife, Billie Jo, will always love and support them no matter where any of their careers ultimately take them, whether in the automotive industry or not.
Similarly, Brown wants his children to try everything because he wants them to do what they love.
The Brown Family Has Been Racing Since 4 Generations- More To Know
In Antron Brown’s family, his grandfather was the first to start the Brown drag-racing gene, with help from his grandmother Dolores, who attends many races.
Later, NHRA Racer’s father, Albert, chose the same career path as his grandfather. He ran a septic tank service and was a sportsman drag racer. Antron grew up watching his father and uncle, Andre Brown, race at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey.
He became interested in racing after watching his father and uncle race. So, at the age of six, he began racing motorcycles, and at twelve, he began motocross, practicing on a course he built on the farm. He entered his first competitive drag race as a senior in high school.
Similarly, Antron’s 13-year-old son, Anson, is now the fourth generation of drag racers in the Brown family. Besides, his other daughter Arianna and son Adler have followed in his footsteps.
Brown has stated that his children have excelled at Junior Dragsters early and have learned valuable life lessons. Last year, his son Anson won the Midwest Junior Dragster championship. Now, three generations of the Brown family will compete in the NHRA Summernationals.
