Reddit reports that internet celebrity Toby Jones, aka Robert L. Hines, was detained for money laundering on July 6, 2022.
After gathering data on him for his dubious companies for more than a year, the authorities stormed his home early in the morning.
Although The Sasquatch Times was the first to publish the story online, no other news source has since confirmed the specifics of his detention. Because of this, it is harder to ascertain the reports of his arrest.
Additionally, Jones was employed by the infamous jail from 1994 until 2003, according to the Vice news outlet.
Hines made an appearance on ComicView in 1992, one year after beginning his comedy career in Chicago, making him most likely the only former correctional officer to have done so.

An unidentified former cashier at Jones’ Good Ass BBQ & Foot Massage informed the Sasquatch Times that he and his coworkers were never paid in cash on payday but received cheap beanies instead.
Furthermore, Hines has a lot more anecdotes regarding his nine years of employment in Cook County than were used in the special; however, they will be featured in his future tour.
