Born on 2nd December 1988, she began skiing at the age of 14. She tells how it took her some time to find her true passion, and she initially bounced around in sports from gymnastics to soccer and even a little alpine skiing before her mother took her cross country skiing.
The two-time Olympic cross country skier, however, is not always thinking about the sport. Apart from the game, she is passionate about becoming a teacher, which led her to get Masters Degree in Education.
However, Rosie loves being around the snow in general, which is why she left sunny Utah and moved to chilly Anchorage, Alaska. The 31-year-old wants to pursue further education and take her sports side by side in the future.
