Tanyalee Davis (born November 27， 1970) is a Canadian comedian who performs widely around the globe， with the majority of her shows taking place in the United Kingdom. Tanyalee also became a citizen of the United States in the autumn of 2010. As a result of her dwarfism， she is only 3 feet and 6 inches tall， which is considered average for her age. She has D.D. dwarfism， which is a kind of dwarfism (diastrophic dysplasia). Tanyalee finished in second place in the Seattle Comedy Competition in November 1999.
She became the first woman to reach the finals in the competition’s ten-year history. When Tanyalee performed at the San Francisco Comedy Festival in October 2012， she finished sixth overall. She was the featured performer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April 2001. In 2003， she was crowned champion of the Norman G. Brooks Standup Comedy Scholarship Competition， which was held at the Hollywood Improv Theatre. In August 2003， she was a member of the “US Comedy Invasion” performance， which performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland， which is the world’s biggest arts festival. In the spring of 2004， she went on a tour of the United Kingdom. In 2005， she appeared on stage alongside Steve Best， Liz Carr， Steve Day， Chris McCausland， and Simon Minty as part of the comedy troupe “Abnormally Funny People.”
The next year， she featured alongside Liz Carr in Bravetarts， which was performed as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In 2007， she presented her one-woman play Little Do They Know in front of an audience. In 2011， she re-launched her fringe show and signed a six-month contract with the Clarion hotel/casino in Las Vegas， where she performed. Tanyalee returned to the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2013 with her new one-woman show， “Big Trouble In Little ‘Gina，” which is based on a horrible medical experience that began at the end of 2012 and continues to this day. Tanyalee is a series regular on the Channel 4 television programme “I’m Spazticus，” which airs in the United Kingdom.
