Houston Rockets team owner, Tilman Fertitta, has confirmed the club will retire the legendary number 13 jersey of the legend, James Harden. The former superstar’s jersey will hang alongside Hakeem, Drexler and Yao Ming’s one day.

James Harden one of the NBA’s prolific scorer played for the Houston Rockets from 2012 to 2021 for his move to the Brooklyn Nets. James Harden has been called the best shooting guard in the NBA, as well as one of the top overall players in the league.

James and the Houston Rockets had a public breakup earlier this season forcing the former MVP a trade out of H-Town. But, Fertitta is considering it water under the bridge. He tells the Houston Chronicle the Rockets WILL recognize the Brooklyn Nets guard with the highest honor eventually.
