Thomas Michael Curry, an English rugby union player (born on June 15, 1998), now plays for the Sale Sharks. Although he usually plays as a flanker, he has gained England caps playing at the number 8 spot.
Curry’s father and Crewe & Nantwich’s cult hero Bobby Walsh served as coaches for Curry’s first amateur team. Curry made his professional debut on October 15, 2016, against Scarlets in the European Champions Cup, making him the fourth-youngest English player overall and the youngest Sale Sharks player to take part in the competition.
He scored in Premiership Rugby on October 30, 2016, moving up to third-youngest scorer in the division. At the end of the 2016–17 regular season, he and his brother Ben shared the Sale Sharks’ Young Player of the Season award. He served as captain during the 2020–21 season’s Sale loss to Exeter Chiefs in the team’s first playoff game.
During Sale’s victory over Bath Rugby in the 2022–23 second round, Curry scored a try. Then, in the fifth round at Welford Road, he scored a goal against the Leicester Tigers, the defending champions. Curry scored his first try in the Champions Cup on December 11, 2022, as part of a 39-0 victory over Ulster.
