Guitarist Carlos Santana is still alive and not dead. He is recovering and taking ample rest after collapsing on the stage.
He fainted at Pine Knob Music Theatre, which left everyone in concern. Soon after, the team took him out of the stage, giving him medical attention as needed.
An evening anchor and reporter at Fox2 Detroit, Roop Raj has kept the fans updated on the matter on Twitter, stating, “Carlos Santana just passed out on stage at PineKnobMusic. Medical personnel on stage. Crowd asked to pray for him because of a “serious medical” issue.”
He was sent to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkston and is receiving his treatment. His manager Michael Vrionis also disclosed the matter to the public “Carlos was taken to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkston for observation and is doing well.”
For now, his show has been postponed and scheduled until his full recovery after collapsing during a concert.
It has not been that long since the people’s guitarist underwent heart surgery in December 2021. His medical condition made his followers more concerned about him.
However, after losing his consciousness at the stage, he gained back his conscious back while getting off the stage.

Carlos Santana updated about his health just recently on his social media account. He wrote,
“to one and all
thank you for your precious prayers Cindy and I we are good just taking it easy
forgot to eat and drink water
so i dehydrated and passed out
blessings and miracles to you all”
He collapsed from heat exhaustion and dehydration and got taken off stage on the stretcher. His followers who have been worried are somehow relieved after hearing from the guitarist himself.

After collapsing at Pine Know Music Theatre during the performance, Carlos Santana currently receives his treatment at McLaren Clarkson’s emergency department.
He remains hospitalized for further observation and check-ups after suffering from dehydration and exhaustion. Regardless, the guitarist might soon be back as he has updated he is doing well in health for the moment.
One of the users on Twitter mentioned, “My sister is at Carlos Santana concert tonight in Detroit area. She said he collapsed and being given CPR. Show was canceled midway through. Please pray for Santana!!”
