According to investigators, Brenden Benoit, 25, was found dead. They claim that the suspects lured Benoit to the wooded area so they could attack him there.
A Boston man was killed in an incident in Lake View, and six people have been accused. Just before two in the morning on Sunday, Hamburg Police say they were called to a wooded location off Holtz Road in Lake View for a report of a male who had been assaulted.
In a press conference on Monday, Erie County District Attorney John Flynn said that three women had driven Benoit to a site where the three male suspects were allegedly waiting to harm Benoit physically.
What Happened To Brenden Benoit Before Death?
According to Flynn, one of the male suspects allegedly hit the victim, and when the victim tried to get back into the car, Jared Adamski, 26, got into a fight with the victim and allegedly stabbed the victim numerous times in the leg. Benoit passed away on the spot.
Benoit was allegedly led to the forested location as part of the defendants’ assault strategy, according to the police. Adamski allegedly cut him with a knife during the assault, according to authorities.

There may be additional costs. In anticipation of their arraignment, which is set for later on Monday afternoon, the suspects are being held in jail.

Jared Adamski From Hamburg Arrested For Assault On Brenden Benoit
Jared M. Adamski, 26, of the Village of Hamburg, has been charged with one count of first-degree manslaughter (a violent Class “B” felony) and one according to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn, the man was charged with one count of second-degree assault, a serious Class “D” felony.
Additionally, five co-defendants were arraigned before Justice Morgan this afternoon. According to the idea of accomplice culpability, everyone has been charged with one count of assault in the second degree for their claimed involvement in the crime.

Adamski wasn’t released on bail. The five co-defendants were asked to be held in custody as well by the prosecution. A $100,000 cash/bond or a $200,000 partially secured bond was used to hold Dean, Drozen, Krone, Skybyk-Schuh, and Smith.
On Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., all six defendants are expected back in court for a felony hearing. The maximum term for Adamski, if found guilty of the most serious offense, is 25 years in prison. The co-defendants risk receiving a maximum term of 7 years in jail if found guilty of the assault accusation.

How Did The Assault On Brenden Benoit Happen?
The defendants are charged with planning a scheme to entice the victim Brenden Benoit to a wooded location close to Heltz Road in Lakeview with the purpose of assaulting her. The three female defendants allegedly drove the victim to the spot where the three male defendants were hidden in the woods on the late evening of Saturday, July 9, 2022.
The six defendants are charged with conspiring to behave in a way that would harm the victim physically.
One of the male suspects allegedly assaulted the victim after he got out of the car. In an effort to flee the attack, the victim allegedly ducked back into the car.
Furthermore, it is claimed that defendant Adamski physically fought the victim inside the car while brandishing a knife. Adamski is charged with repeatedly stabbing the victim in the upper leg region.
