Filipino television personality Jhong Hilario surprisingly returned to “It’s Showtime” after disappearing from the show amid the pandemic. Was he suffering from illness?
Jhong is an actor, dancer, and television host who is currently serving as a councilor of Makati from its first district since 2016. The forty-five-year man is also a part of the Filipino dance group called, Streetboys.
Hilario began his career as a dancer in 1993 and as an actor in 1996.
What Happened To Jhong Hilario? Was He Ill?
Jhong Hilario is not reported to have any illness. The host detached himself from the mid of pandemic to focus on his family. As said by news.abc, he temporarily disappeared from his regular work to focus on his newborn child.
The television presenter and his longtime partner Maia Azores welcomed their first child, daughter Sarina on March 27, 2021.
Further, Jhong couldn’t continue his work after the task as he re-runs for the recent 2022 Election this May. Talking on the show, he said, “I told the management, I need to take the oath because I’m not sure if I’m qualified to be a counselor if I don’t swear. “I’ve already sworn.”
Hilario was first elected as a councilor in 2016 and re-elected in 2019 and 2022. Moreover, he was the most vote-getter in all the mentioned elections.

Jhong Hilario recently glanced at the “Its’s Showtime,” surprising his fellow hosts on Saturday. Initially, he pretended to be Friedrich Palacol and revealed it to be himself after removing the mirror.
When asked about his return to the show, he agreed before jokingly imitating the “baby steps” of the recently returned Curtis. On the other hand, Vice acknowledged to people that he requested the management various times to bring him and Curtis back as the audience wanted them to return to the show.
Before coming to the show, he was busy on the oathtaking ceremony of the newly elected officials of Makai for the year 2022-2025.
Since the presenter had promised to resume his routine after oathtaking, he probably could be seen on the screen afterward.

Jhong Hilario was born to his father Virgilio HIllario Sr., and his mother Nelita V. HIlario, on August 11, 1976. Jhong is not reported to have any siblings.
John’s father, Virgilio, was his inspiration as he served as a councilor for nine years. Following his father’s path, the social personality has made his name by doing the work in politics.
As said on the pixel-related planet, Jhong’s wife worked as a cabin crew for a local airline company. Furthermore, the couple is said to have an age gap of fifteen years.
The couple has known each other for over a decade, so the age difference has never been an issue.
