Scott Falater, the “sleepwalker” who murdered his wife, Yarmila Falater, is constantly tormented by guilt over the crime.

Yarmila And Scott Falater’s Son Michael’s Testimony
When his father drowned and stabbed his mother in 1997, the son, then 12 years old, Scott Falaster, was there. The boy later came forward and said his father had been sleepwalking.
The episode of 20/20 on ABC features Michael Falater telling Amy Robach, “Not everyone can say their father stabbed their mom and kept her in a pool of water, but that is where I am.”

“I still think about my mother, who passed away more than 20 years ago, on a daily basis. I imagine what she might be doing with my children right now and what life might have been like,” he added.
Furthermore, nearly 24 years after killing his mother, Scott Falater’s son sees him in prison and says, “He’s still my dad and I hope to always have that relationship with him, whether he’s in prison or out.”
