Frank Fritz from the long-running hit show “American Pickers” has once again become the trending news.
Sadly, it is for his bad days instead of something good that his fans were anticipating. The last few years marked many problems for him, and now, the media has confirmed that Fritz is suffering from poor health.
Fritz, along with his show’s co-host Mike Wolfe, are History channels’ well-known personalities, known for 22 seasons of their show.
What Is Frank Fritz Doing Now? Stroke And Health Update
The famed “American Pickers” co-host suffered from a stroke last week. Mike Wolfe relayed the news to their fans and viewers through his Instagram.
Wolfe asked his fans to pray for Fritz’s health, hoping that it will improve for the best.
Fritz’s friend had called 911 reporting that the History channel’s famed host was sprawled on the floor. The incident happened on July 14, just before 11 a.m., when the friend had dropped by his Iowa farmhouse.

As The Sun exclusively reported about the incident, the friend said: “I just showed up at my friend’s house here, and he was sprawled out on his floor. He can’t speak to me. He might be seizuring, I’m not sure” on the 911 call.
Fritz was rushed to the hospital immediately after the call and given treatment. He is still in the hospital, looked after by the medical staff for his critical condition.
This adds another health problem to his life as he already suffers from back pain.
That was the reason for him leaving “American Pickers” in March 2020. Fritz underwent surgery to treat his back pain but did not return to the show after that.

American Pickers Host Frank Fritz Is In Hospital Now
As July 22 reports claim that Fritz was still in hospital till that date, the stroke really affected him. The 56-year-old actively needs medical assistance, citing his old age and his living alone.
Since he was out from the show in 2020, he has not been back to the channel since then.
Covid-19 had hit at that time, but the show producers did not ask Fritz to return. In his 2021 interview, the former “American Pickers” had hoped that he would be taken back in the show.
But the opportunity did not strike in, and now he is back in the hospital. Thus, his future plans still remain to himself amid his tumultuous personal life.
American Pickers is still ongoing with Mike Wolfe and returned for its 23rd season earlier this year. Millions of viewers have shown their love for this show, where the hosts travel across America in search of rare Americana artifacts and national treasures.

Frank Fritz shocked the American Pickers fans and viewers when he was nowhere to be seen on 2020 episodes of the show.
As he revealed in 2021, he was not fired from the show but simply went out to treat his back pain, and he was never called back by the show and its crew.
