Muhammad Alshareef Founded Almaghrib And DiscoverU Before He Passed Away
Muhammad AlShareef established the AlMaghrib Institute, a center for Islamic studies, in Houston, Texas, in 2002. Islam-related courses are offered by AlMaghrib as a six-day, two-weekend intensive seminar in addition to other courses in a more condensed three-day, one-weekend format.
Despite founder Muhammad AlShareef’s vow to only use the terms “Islam” and “Muslim,” the majority of AlMaghrib professors are graduates of the Islamic University of Madinah,[4] which is why AlMaghrib is categorized as having a Salafi doctrinal leaning.
May Allah have mercy on Shaykh Muhammad Alshareef and give him Jannat al-Firdaws. He founded @almaghrib through which so many of us benefitted, he was a gem from our Muslim community in Canada, and I don’t think I took more encouragement to make duʿa from anyone as much as him https://t.co/ekOHdCzQES
