Dario Saric, a professional basketball player for the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder, was born on April 8, 1994, in Croatia (NBA). In the 2014 NBA Draft, he was picked with the 12th overall pick. He additionally represents Croatia’s senior national squad. With Zrinjevac, Saric started his professional career in 2009.
After joining Zagreb in the middle of the 2009–10 campaign and spending the majority of the 2010–11 campaign on loan with Dubrava, Saric won the Città di Roma EuroLeague (IJT) in May 2011 with teammates Mario Hezonja and Dominik Mavra and advanced to the tournament’s Final Four, where his team ultimately prevailed.

But on April 14, 2013, Saric will formally declare himself eligible for the draft once more. Saric eventually decided to completely withdraw from the draft in order to spend another year in Europe and gather experience.
He agreed to a 2+1 contract with the Turkish team Anadolu Efes on June 24th, 2014.

Days before the 2014 NBA draft started, he accepted the offer. Saric was taken by the Orlando Magic as the 12th pick overall in the 2014 draft, but on draft night, his rights were dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers for Elfrid Payton.
Saric joined the Philadelphia 76ers on July 15, 2016. On November 1, 2016, Saric played in just his third NBA game and scored 21 points in a 103-101 loss to the Orlando Magic.
