An Illinois state trooper, Antonio Alvarez, and his wife, Amanda Calo Alvarez were found dead in a parked car on Monday in Chicago. Their deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide.
According to reports of the officials, the state trooper first shot his wife and then shot himself to death. They both had a gunshot wound and a weapon was also retrieved on the scene.
Further details from the victim’s relatives confirmed that the couple was having problems in their relationship.

Amanda Calo was the wife of a 3-year police veteran, Antonio Alvarez.
In recently released reports, the 30-year-old husband killed his wife because she was going to leave him. He shot Calo to death and killed himself afterward.
As per the victim’s relatives, she was already separated from her husband and was preparing to leave him for good. They were reportedly having issues in their marriage and the divorce was inevitable.
But Antonio had other ideas in mind as he took her in a car and parked it in an East neighborhood in Chicago. He then shot his wife and himself to death.

Only the police officer was identified initially, however, it was later known that the other victim was his wife. But the recent reports show that Antonio actually killed his wife before killing himself.
The Chicago Police have ruled it as a murder-suicide.
