The sad news was confirmed by the Miami Dolphins at the halftime of their match against the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.
He spent a very long time working for the Miami Dolphins, rising to the top levels of team management. In 2018, he offered the graduation speech to the Texas Tech graduating class.

According to the online obituary, Jason died unexpectedly just before Miami’s game against the Eagles on 27 August.
Tom Garfinkel, the Dolphins’ vice chairman expressed his pain and wrote, “Our hearts are shattered and we are grieving the death of a man who was a good friend and adored by so many people.
Jenkins was a devoted employee of the Dolphins organization for 14 years, a leader in the community, a champion for others, and above all, a genuine human being.
He was always willing to help and support the survivors and sufferers of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy.
