While training for the World Cup in Germany in early January 2021 in the Mammoth Moutain Ski Resort, she crashed into the snow when her inside edge caught hooked up the hill. Due to the impact of her crashing into the snow, she lost consciousness.
Her half face was injured and, she had bloody eyes with a strained knee. She got treated for her injury for eight days in a local hospital and, after recovery, she returned home.
After getting recovered from the injury, she came back to practice for the Olympics. But, the player revealed that her technical and tactical aspects returned but, she was having challenges mentally.
