Pete von Reichbauer is an American politician who serves as a member of the nonpartisan King County Council. He represents the District 7 region of South King County. It includes all of the cities of Federal Way and Algona.
Furthermore, Pete represents the entire King County portions of Milton, Auburn, and Pacific.

Pete von Reichbauer grew up in Lakewood, Washington. From the University of Alabama, Pete graduated with a degree in history. After the completion, he decided to join U.S. Army, so he joined the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
During his military service, Von was posted at Ft. Bragg, Ft. Benjamin Harrison, North Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, and as well as in Japan. After serving for the Washington Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve, he decided to retire. Pete retired as a Major.
Apart from his position in the public office, he has served as a board member of St. Francis Hospital, founding board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Federal Way, and President of the Kiwanis Club.
Pete has served in numerous leadership positions. On the council, for two years, he served as a Chair of the King County Council in 2000 and 2001. For six years as vice-chair and three years as chair of the Budget and Fiscal Management Committee
