Who Is Jim Brown?

Jim Brown is a sports analyst, retired actor and former football player who played as a fullback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) from 1957 to 1965.

Born on February 17, 1936, in Georgia, Brown is regarded as “one of the greatest running backs of all time, and one of the greatest footballers in the history of the NFL.”

During his playing career, he won the MVP award three times, and an NFL championship with the Browns in 1964, leading the league in rushing yards for eight seasons.

Brown recorded a successful collegiate career at Syracuse University, where he earned an All-America honors.

His NFL statistics showed he finished his career with an impressive record of 12,312 rushing yards and 106 touchdowns.

Brown was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971.

Upon retirement from football, Brown embraced acting as a career and appeared in lead roles until he quit acting.
