Apparently, she had been admitted to hospice care for the past week due to her deteriorating health condition. Sadly, she lost her battle to the old age.
The former beauty pageant model was the age of 74 years old.
Eldred has crowned Miss America on September 6, 1969. She won the title as an exceptional dancer and a generous social activist.
Throughout her life, Eldred served as an advocate for specially-abled people – an activism she had initiated as the Miss America. Likewise, she was also the founder of Pam Eldred Community Health Scholarships which helps young women eager to help the specially-abled community.

Despite her successful endeavors as a pageant model, Eldred studied and graduated from Mercy College. She obtained her undergrad degree in Speech and drama. Furthermore, she even served as the national spokesperson for the March of Dimes.
During her last days, Eldred wasn’t phased by her old age. She enjoyed cooking and shopping for jewelry.

The funeral is scheduled to take place on July 13, 2022, at Lynch and Sons. Family members have been encouraged to donate to Pam Eldred Community Health Scholarships in lieu of flowers.

Who are Pamela Eldred’s Husband and Children? On Her Family Life
Eldred was born on April 21, 1948, to her parents William and Anne Eldred. She was the youngest in the family with two older brothers named Jerome and John.
In 1976, Pamela Eldred got married to her husband, Dr. Jules F Levey. In 1980, she welcomed her only daughter and the joy of her life, Hilary. However, the former model later got divorced from Levey due to their personal differences. After her separation, she started a new journey as a cosmetologist and electrologist.
In 1998, Pamela got remarried for the second and last time to Norman Robbins. The couple enjoyed their rest life in Flordia, until Robbins’s demise in 2019.
Hilary is a Harvard-graduate sociologist and has two sons named Carston Friedman and Quenton Friedman. Eldred was very close to her grandchildren.
