Canadian professional ice hockey player Mitchell Marner, a well-known right winger, was born in Markham, Ontario.
He is the National Hockey League’s backup captain for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He spent the majority of his life in Thornhill, where he also grew up. In the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, the Maple Leafs picked Marner as the fourth overall choice.
Mitchell Marner used to be a die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf supporter when he was younger. It did not surprise him that he was chosen by the team because it was just a dream come true for him.

Marner shared his favorite movies, video games, and television shows, including “The Step Brothers,” “Call of Duty,” and Grand Theft Auto.
