Dario Saric, a professional basketball player for the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder, was born on April 8, 1994, in Croatia (NBA). In the 2014 NBA Draft, he was picked with the 12th overall pick. He additionally represents Croatia’s senior national squad. With Zrinjevac, Saric started his professional career in 2009.
After joining Zagreb in the middle of the 2009–10 campaign and spending the majority of the 2010–11 campaign on loan with Dubrava, Saric won the Città di Roma EuroLeague (IJT) in May 2011 with teammates Mario Hezonja and Dominik Mavra and advanced to the tournament’s Final Four, where his team ultimately prevailed.
